THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PICKERING
BY-LAW NO. 6977/09
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of
a Lease' Agreement between the Corporation
of the City of Pickering and Rogers
Communications Inc. for the leasing of those
lands consisting of part of the road allowance
between Lots 34 and 35, Concession 5
(Sideline 34, north of . Regional Road 27
(Whitevale Road)), for the purposes of
installing and maintaining communications
equipment.
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of Municipal Act, 2001, the Council of the
Corporation of the City of Pickering may enter into lease agreements in relation to
municipal property.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Lease Agreement in the
form acceptable to the City Solicitor, between the Corporation of the City of
Pickering and Rogers Communications Inc. as set out in Planning &
Development Committee Report PD 21-09 dated July 6, 2009.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 13th day of July,
2009.
