LOCATIONAL CRITERIA FOR GOLF COURSES FILE NUMBER - B 1000 '-'" In Planning Report 7/90, it is recommended that an amendment to the Pi ekeri ng Di stri ct P1 an to estab 1 ish Locationa1 Criteria for Golf Courses be approved. Approved as amended by receiving the Report See Recommendation #1 1. Fred Beer, Association which looks rural area. representing the Pickering Rural stated that he supports any study into the impact of development on the 2. Sue Statten, Sideline 6, stated that she is concerned about reports that are prepared by people who do not 1 ive in the rural area but affect development in the area. She stated that Council must take into consideration the wishes of the area residents. '-" 5/90 11 '- 2. OFFICIAL PLAN AMENDMENT 82-123/D SUBMITTED BY C. deGRAAUW AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF WESTNEY ROAD AND CONCESSION 9 ROAD FILE NUMBER - B 2310 - OPA 82-1 23/D In Planning Recommendation Report 14/90, it is recommended that the Official Plan Amendment submitted by C. deGraauw to permit a golf course at the southwest corner of Westney Road and Concession 9 Road be refused. "'" TOWN OF PICKERING That the Planning Committee of the Town of Pickering having met on June 20, 1990, presents its fifth report to Council and recommends: 1. LOCATIONAL CRITERIA FOR GOLF COURSES FILE NUMBER - B 1000 That Town Council establish Locational Criteria for Gol f Courses in the context of an amendment to the Pickering District Plan that will provide revised Rural Area policies for Pickering, and that this amendment be received and the community and interested agencies be circulated for further input. w ........ ~
