(I) OFFICIAL PLAN AMENDMENT 90-100/P AND REZONING APPLICATION
A32/90 SUBMITTED BY J.F. COUGHLAN AT THE
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BROCK ROAD AND FINCH AVENUE
1. An explanation of the application, as outlined in
Information Report 9/91, was given by Jeff Cole, Planner.
2.
Murray Stroud, representing the applicant, stated the
proposal for a hotel, banquet hall, residential condominium
and commercial use will increase the Town's tax base,
provi de jobs and fulfi 11 the need for the hotel/banquet
hall facility.

3. Ron Joy, 1988 Royal Road, submitted a petition of Royal
Road residents opposed to the application.
4. Adrian Hawco, 1990 Royal Road, asked about the previous
application on this site and stated traffic on Royal Road
will increase and property values will depreciate.
5. The resident at 1986 Royal Road spoke in opposition to the
apartment building and its entrances which will be directly
across from her house. She also asked if sewer services on
Royal Road will be installed.
