ON THE EAST SIDE OF WOODVIEW AVENUE, NORTH OF PINE GROVE AVENUE 1 . An explanation of the application, as outlined in Information Report #30/91 was given by V. Rodrigues, Senior Pl anner. ... '-" 2. Grant Morris, Planning Consultant for the applicant, stated that the storm water management plan will handle flooding, tha t a fence bes i de the adj acent property wi 11 be taken into account, that as many trees as possible will be retained, that there is no evidence that property values wi II decrease and the envi ronmenta 1 concerns wi II be addressed. He, however, objected to the large setbacks recommended. 3. Catherine Murray, Friends of Altona and Petticoat Creek, stated that the environmental matters and storm water management must be addressed before a recommendation report is prepared. 4. Grant Morris responded that a meeting will be held with the Ministry of Natural Resources to environmental and storm water concerns. ..... ',-, 2 ..... An explanation of the application, as outlined in Information Report #29/91 was given by V. Rodrigues, Senior Planner. 2. Grant Morris, representing the applicant, stated that the pl an wi 11 be redesi gned to i ncl ude a cul de sac instead of two roads, that the lot frontages can be accommodated, that as many trees as possible beside the Hydro right-of-way will be retained and that environmental concerns will be addressed. 3. Catheri ne Murray, Fri ends of Al tona and Petti coat Creek, stated that techni ca 1 matters respecti ng the Rouge River and Duffins Creek should be dealt with prior to approval. ........ (III) DRAFT PLAN OF SUBDIVISION 18T-88002(R) AND REZONING APPLICATION A12/88(R) SUBMITTED BY NUGGET CONSTRUCTION CO. LTD. BETWEEN ALTONA ROAD AND WOODVIEW AVENUE 1. An explanation of the application, as outlined in Information Report #28/91 was given by V. Rodrigues, Senior Planner. 2. Lloyd Cherniak, solicitor on behalf of the applicant, stated that the lot frontages are in keeping with what has been approved to the south, that a 10 metre setback from the floodline has been agreed to, that environmental concerns will be address and they have designated 70 to 100 metres as open space near the river. They agree to include a clause in Offers to Purchase regarding the unavailability of a Separate School in the area. 3. Catheri ne Murray, Fri ends of Al tona and Petti coat Creek, stated her comments regarding the first two applications apply to this application. She stated a meeting with Planning staff and the Ministry of Natural Resources should be held to discuss setbacks and buffers. ... 4. Hans Lohr, 1910 Altona Road, expressed his concern that the development will affect his well and also felt that the floodline is not appropriate. 5. Ken Walton, 1826 Forestview Drive, expressed his concern regarding construction traffic accessing the site and children's safety. He added that there is a dead tree on the site of an earlier development that has not been removed. 6.
