The new proposal provides for approximately one acre of land to be designated for acquisition by the M.T.RC.A; the number of units has been reduced; there will be two access points to the subdivision from the north; and there will be a walkway into the Altona Forest. Development will be comprised of quattroplexes, semi- detached houses, townhouse units, a block for affordable housing and commercial uses of approximately 20,000 square feet. He requested that the commercial block be put under a holding zone pending the completion of the necessary market studies. In response to a question from Councillor Pistritto, Mr. Landolt stated that the one acre parcel of the applicants land that is designated to be part of the Altona Forest will be purchased by the M.T.RC.A and he indicated that the Ministry of Natural Resources is reviewing the boundaries of the proposed acquisition. 3.
