BY-LAW NO. 6575~05
Being a By-law to amend By-law 2359/87
providing for the regulating of parking,
standing and stopping on highways or parts
of highways under the jurisdiction of the City
of Pickering and on private and municipal
property.
WHEREAS, By-law 2359/87, as amended, provides for the regulating of parking,
standing and stopping on highways or parts of highways under the jurisdiction of the
City of Pickering and on pdvate and municipal property; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient to amend By-law 2359/87 to amend the existing
"no parking" and "no stopping" zones along sections of Alliance Road and Sandy Beach
Road.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PICKERING
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
Schedule B to By-Law 2359/87, as amended, is hereby further amended by
deleting the following item:
Highway Side Between/And
Prohibited times
and days
Alliance Road South Sandy Beach Road to See note 1
25 metres east of
Sandy Beach Road
Schedule A to By-Law 2359/87, as amended, is hereby further amended by
adding the following item:
Highway Side Between/And
Prohibited times
and days
Alliance Road South Sandy Beach Road to Anytime
125 metres east of
Sandy Beach Road
Sandy Beach East Alliance Road to Anytime
Road and Regional Road 22
West (Bayly Street)
This By-Law shall come into force on the date that it is approved by the Council
of The City of Picketing and when signs to the effect are erected.
