BY-LAW NO. 6532/05
Being a by-law to appoint Ozair Chaudhry_to
the City of Pickering Public Library Board.
WHEREAS Mr. Kam Rathee was appointed to the City of Pickering Public Library Board
for a term to expire on November 30, 2006; and
WHEREAS Mr. Rathee resigned from the Public Library Board effective March 30,
2005; and
WHERE)~,S pursuant to Section 12 of the Public Libraries Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.44, as
amended, where a vacancy arises in the membership of a board, the appointing council
shall promptly appoint a person to fill the vacancy and to hold office for the unexpired
term;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
That Section 16(7) of By-law Number 6211/03 is hereby amended by deleting
therefrom the name Kam Rathee and adding thereto the name Ozair Chaudhry.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 6th day of June,
2O05.
