BY-LAW NO. 6498/05
Being a By-law to amend By-law 2359/87
providing for the regulating of parking,
standing and stopping on highways or parts
of highways under the jurisdiction of the City
of Pickering and on private and municipal
property.
WHEREAS, By-law 2359/87, as amended, provides for the regulating of parking,
standing and stopping on highways or parts of highways under the jurisdiction of the
City of Pickering and on private and municipal properly; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient to amend By-law 2359/87 to modify "no stopping"
zone on west side of Rosebank Road between Strouds Lane and Woodsmere
Crescent.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PICKERING
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
Schedule A to By-law 2359/87, as amended, is hereby further amended by
deleting the following item:
Highway Side Between/And
Rosebank West
Road
Strouds Land and
Woodsmere Crescent
2. Schedule A to By-law 2359/87, as amended,
Prohibited times
and days
7:30 am to 4:30 pm
Monday to Friday
is hereby further amended by
adding hereto the following items:
Highway Side Between / And
Prohibited times
and days
Rosebank West
Road
Strouds Land and
116.5 meters north
thereof.
7:30 am to 4:30 pm
Monday to Friday
This By-law shall come into force on the date that it is approved by the Council of
The City of Pickering and when signs to the effect are erected.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 2 ~ day of March
2005.
