BY-LAW NO.6359/04
Being a by-law to appoint William (Bill)
McLean to the vacant office of Ward 2
Regional Councillor
WHEREAS pursuant to Section 262(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as
amended, the Council of the Corporation of the City of Pickering declared the office of
Ward 2 Regional Councillor as vacant at its meeting of July 26, 2004; and
WHEREAS pursuant to Section 263(5) of the said Act, the Council wishes to appoint
William McLean to fill the vacancy;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
Mr. William (Bill) McLean is hereby appointed to fill the vacancy in the office of
Ward 2 Regional Councillor.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 26th day of July,
2OO4.
