(I) RESOLUTIONS
Resolution #71/04
Moved by Councillor Holland
Seconded by Councillor Pickles
That pursuant to Section 239(4) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, the Council of
The Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a closed meeting to
discuss a personnel matter.
CARRIED
The Chief Administrative Officer introduced and discussed administrative
changes he is effecting in the Clerk's Division including By-law enforcement and
prosecutions.
2. Councillor Ashe briefly discussed a legal matter.

That Council rise from this In Camera session at 7:45 pm.
CARRIED
Councillor Pickles advised that he received a call from a resident concerning a
neighbour draining their pool into other people's back yards. Councillor Pickles
requested staff to confirm where pools are to be drained.

Council confirmed that the City would purchase a corporate table for $1,000 for
the Hedzon House Women's Shelter, "Another Tasteful Event", to be held on
May 30, 2004.
Council agreed that the 2004 Current and Capital Budgets shall be considered by
the Executive Committee on May 20th and May 21st commencing at 9:00 am.
The Budget shall then be presented to Council on June 1st at 7:30 pm.
