Being a by-law to amend By-law 2366/87
designating Fairport Road as a through
highway
WHEREAS By-law 2366/87, as amended, designates certain highways within
the Town of Picketing as through highways; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend By-law 2366/87 to provide for
a three-way stop at the intersection of Fairport Road and Welrus Street;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Schedule "A" to By-law 2366/87, as amended, is hereby further amended
by deleting the following:
Fairport Road Kingston Road Finch Avenue
(Kings Highway (Durham Regional
No. 2) Road 37)
and subsituting therefor the following:
Fairport Road Kingston Road Welrus Street
(Kings Highway
No. 2)
Fairport Road Welrus Street Finch Avenue (Durham
Regional Road 37)
2. This by-law shall come into force on the date that it is approved by
the Council of the Regional Municipality of Durham and when signs
to the effect are erected.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and PASSED this 16th day
of November 1987.
