BY-LAW NUMBER 744/77
Being & By-LaF to amend By-?yew 3844/70
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township (now
Town) of Pickering enacted By-Law 3844/70 on August 4th, 1970 to
require and regulate the filling up, draining, cleaning, clearing,
of any grounds, yards and vacant tots and the altering, re-laying,
or repairing of private drains;
AND WHEREAS it is now deemed expedient to amend By-Law 3844,`70
in certain reF^- -s.
NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF `1FbE CORPORA` I(3N OF TH TOW, OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Section 9 of By-Law 3844/70 is hereby revoked and the -follow-
ing substituted therefor:
9. Any person, who contravenes any cf the prov=isions cf
this By-Law is guilty of an offence and capon convic-
tion, is liable to a fine of not more than $1,000.00
exclusive of costs, recoverable under the provisions
of The Summary --onvictions Act.
