BY-LAW ?UMBER 742/77
Being a By-Law'-to appoint members of the
Pickering museum management Board
WHEK AS onJuly 4th, 1977 the Council of the Corporation of
the Townof Pickering enacted By-Lass 653/77 appointing certain
persons to be members of she Pickering Museum Management Board
until and including the 31st day of December, 1977;
AND WHEREAS it is now deemed expedient to appoint members
of that Board from and including January 1st, 1978 to December
31st, 1979;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICCERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS
1. Section 2 of By-Law 653/77 is hereby revoked and the
following substituted therefor:
The Pickering '.Museum Management Board shall
be composed of seven (7) persons, at least
two of whom shall be members of the Council
of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering.
2. Section 3 of the said By-Law is hereby revoked and the
following substituted therefor:
From and including, the 1st day of January,
1978 until and including the 30th day of
November, 1978, the persorfs composing the
Pickering Museum Management Board shall
be:
Mayor Jack Anderson
Councillor Laurie Cahill
Councillor Gerry Fisher
Councillor Norah Geraghty
Councillor Don Kitchen
Councillo:: Ken Matheson
Councillor Alex Robertson,
3. Section 4 of the said By-Law is hereby revoked and the
following substituted therefor;
From and after the lst day of Januar-;r, 1978
r,ntil and including the 30th day of No=vember,
1978, the Chairman of the Pickerln(4 Museum
Management Board shall be Mayor Jack
Anderson.
