DISPOSITION
THE CORPOPNTION OF THE T WN OF PITCKERING
BY LAW NUMBER 728/77
Being a by-law to amend by-law 142/74
WHEREAS by--!WW N,urber 142/74 was passed December 16th; 1974,
for the licensing, regulating and governing of taxicab and
limousine drivers, owners and brokers, and for establishing
the rates and fares to be charged by the owners or drivers
of such vehicles for the conveyance of goods or passengers,
either wholly within the municipality or to any point not
more than three miles beyond its limits, and providing for
collection of such rates or fares and for revoking any such
licenses;
AND WHEREAS it isdeemed expedient to amend that By-law;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPOFATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKER:ING HEREB 1 ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule One forming part of By-law Number 142/74 is
hereby revoked and Schedule "A" attached to this
by-law becomes Schedule One co By-law 142/74.

28th day of November 1977.

A. DISTANCE CHARGES
1. For the first 4009 meters (1/4), mile)

C. NOTES
1. Maximum total charge under 8.1, 2 and 3 shall not
exceed $0.60 for any trip,
2. No charge is claimable or payable for the carriage
of a wheel chair accompanying a handicapped person.
