DISPOSITION,
TEE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
BY LAW NUMBER LcX l - 7 -Being a By-law to provide for the
assumption by the Town: of certain
above-cround services in Plans -997
and 14-998.
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of a subdivision agreement dater':
June 18th, 1973 and registered March 8th, 1974, between Pickering
Development Company and The Corporation of the Township of Pickering;,
Pickering Development Company has completed certain above-ground
services in subdivision Plans M-993 and M-998 to the satisfaction of
The Corporation of the Town of Pickering, the successor to The
Corporation of the Township of Pickering;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable for The Corporation of the Town ?f
Pickering to accept such above-ground services and assume the same
for maintenance;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATI.,N OF THE TOWN OF PICKE RING
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The above-ground services, consisting of the roads, curbs,
sidewalks, walkways, driveway aprons, boulevards, street
signs, fencing and grading, located on lands dedicated to
the To*wm in Plans M-997 and M-998, are hereby accepted by
the Town and assumed by it for maintenance.
2. Nothing in this By-law shall act to relieve Pickering
Development Company, its successors and assigns, from
its obligation to guarantee workmanship and materials
as provided in Section 14 of the subdivision agreement
reierred to above.
3. This By-law shall be deemed to have come: into force on the
lst day of duly, 1976.
