HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 547 .B ¥ - L A W N U ~ B g t~. 5 4 7 BY-LAW TO VEST IN AND CONVEY A PORTION OF TIlE SECOND CONCESSION LINE, OF TI{~ T0~/NSIlIP OF PIGKERING, TO JOIIN 5icVEY LIY~SDEN, TIlE 0~NER 0F ~T N0. 20, IN TIIE FIttST CONCESSION~ AND TO ES{~qgR JOSEPH HONIflIOUSS~ ESQ.~ REEVE 0F TIlE TOWNSHIP OF PICI~RING~ T0 CON~Y TIlE SAID ROAD AL~WANCE BY DEED TO THE SAID JOtIN MC~Y LU~DEN, AND T0 AFFIX THE GORPO~TE SSAL T0 SAID C0~YANCE · 5~{EREAS the }[unicipal Council of the Township of Picketing did pass a By-Law on the Nineteenth day of June, A.D. 1S71, vesting a portion of the 2nd Concession Line in the }iunicipality of Picketing to one John 5fcVey Lumsden; AND ~IEREAS the said By-Law appears to be and is defective, and it is ~ecessary to cure said defects; .TD,~REFORE the ~Iunicipal Co~mcil o£ the Township of Picketing .ENACTS AS FOLLOW.S: THAT that certain p~rtion oI' original allowance for road, in rear of I~t No. 20, in the First Concession, being described as follows~ that is to say: Commencing on the Southern limit of said original allowance at a distance of one chain and sixty links on a course South 74 degrees West 8 chains and 25 links; thence North 70 degrees East 11 chains and 50 links; thence South 46 degrees ~est 2 chains an(l 13 links, more or less, to the place o£ beginning, be and. the same is hereby vested in John ~cVey L~unsden, and his heirs and assigns forever. _AN.D_ IT IS FURTtIER ENACTED that Joseph ~onkhouse, Esq., Reeve of the Township oI' Picketing, be and is hereby instructed to sign a deed of conveyance of the said hereinbefore described allowance to the said John 5icgey Ltuus(len~ and affix the Corporate Seal to the said deed of conveyance.
