HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 42 B Y- L A..W N U M ~..E R 4 2 A BY-LAW TO ESTABLISH TI[AT PART OF THE KINGSTON ROAD ACROSS LOTS 23, 24 and 25 IN THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING. ~E IT ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of Picketing THAT the new line o£ road surveyed and reported by John Shier, Provincial Surveyor, being a straight line from the bridge at M~. Dunbar's on Lot No. 25 to intersect the present road at Mr. Whitney's buildings on Lot No. 23, a distance of 208 rods, is hereby established and confirmed a I~blic Highway of manifest importance to the public. ~iND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, that so soon as the aforesaid road be made suitable to public travel, the site o£ the old road for which the above road is substituted, shall become vested in ~eorge White pursuant to the award of the arbitration made in that behalf, and the said George White is hereby authorized to take possession of, and enclose the same.
