being a by-law to authorize
the sale of Lots 117 and
118 on Plan 284 to The
Corporation of the County
of Ontario
WHEREAS the Lots 117 and 118 on Plan 284 are resid-
ential lots situated on the proposed extension ~f Lawrence
Avenue East;
Ab~ WHEREAS the said lands were purchased by The
Corporation of the Township of Picketing when the owner
proposed ~o construct dwellings thereon;
AbD WHEREAS The Coxpoxat ion of the County of Ontario
requires the said lands fez the proposed extension of Lawrence
Avenue East and has agreed to reimburse The Corporation Gl the
Township of Picketing for the monies expended to the exten~ of
$26,000.00.
NOW THE~ FORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORAT ION fF THE
TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Reeve and Clerk axe authorized to execute
a deed from The Coxporation of the Township of Pickexing to
The Corporation ~f the County of Ontario dated December 19~h,
1969, with respect to all of Lots 117 and 118 as shown on a
plan zegistexed in the Registry Office fox ~he Registry
Division of the County of Ontario as number 284, and to execute
all documents required to complete th=. sale.
READ a First, Second and Third time and passed in
open Council this ~ ~ ~ day of December, A.D. lg6g.
