A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering to set a date,
hour and place for receiving nomina-
tions for members of the Divisional
Board of Education for the County of
Ontario for the years 1969 and 1970
and the date and hours of elections
if necessary, as provided for by an
amendment to the Secondary Schools
and Boards of Education Act, Sec. 81
(1) (Bill ~)
The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the place for receiving nominations for (3) three candidates
for a divisional Board of Education for the years 1969 and 1970
shall be in:
(1) PICKERING DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL (Church St. N.)
on Monday the 18th day of November, 1968 and that the hour
during which such nominations shall be received shall commence
7:00 o'clock p.m. and end at the hour of 8:00 o'clock in the
evening.
2. That should an election be necessary, a poll of the electors will
be held on the first Monday in December and the polls shall be open
between the hours of lO:O0 o'clock in the morning and 8:00 o'clock
in the evening.
