(a) The d~g and ~loading or placing of ~y garbage, refuse,
waste, aecond-h~d ~terial, or c~cible ~terial in any
place in the T~ship of Picketing, without any authority
writing fr~ the Co~cil is prohibited.
(b)The d~pi~ or ~loading or placing of ~y ~terial which by
reason of its creat~g a hUla.ce either fr~ ~ell or
burn~g thereof, ca~ing ~oke, smell, or ~y other objectionable
figure, is prohibited ~ the T~hip.
(c) ~is shall not prevent the ~er of ~y l~d using his property
for the purpose of d~ping, ~load~ or placing of ~y ~terial
which arises, develops or originates ~ his ~ property,
providing he c~plies with the other provisions of this By-l~.
~e Co~cil ~y pe~it the d~i~ of ashes alone provided that a~h
ashes are kept in a proper ~er by keeping level ~d free of ~y
~terial that gives ~ ~tidy appear~ce and that at least
inches (6") of cle~ earth is put ~ top of not more th~ eve~
feet (6') of ashes ~d that be~een the first of April ~d first of
D~ber of each year, ~hes ~d clean earth de.sited on any l~d
shall not exceed fifty per cent (~7.) of ashes.
No land shall be filled in s~h a manner as to bl~k or interfere
with the no~al fl~ or seepage of surf~e water, water-course or
sto~ waters.
It shall be the duty of all ~ers or ~cup~ts of the T~ship
keep ~y lands used, ~ed or ~cupied by su~ a resident or ~er, in
a clean ~d s~itary condition and no waste paper, garbage or any
~sightly conditions shall be all~ed to re~in.
In the event of any ~ner or ~cupant pe~itt~g ~y l~ds ~ed or
occupied ~o have ~ ~sightly or unsanitary condition, the M~icipal
L~ ~forc~ent Officer shall have the right to correct such condition
~d the ~er or ~cup~t responsible shall fort~ith upon d~d pay
the cost of correcting s~h condition, or upon failure to pay, the cost
~y be collected by suit.
Any person convicted of a breach of ~y of the provisions of this
B~i~ shall forfeit and pay at the discreC~n of the convicting
~gistrate a penalty not ~ceed~g (~clusive of costs) the s~ of
$~.00 (Fifty Dollars) for each offence. ~ery s~h penalty shall
be recoverable ~der "~e 8~ Convictio~ Act," all the prov~ions
of ~ich shall apply hereto.
