A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Picketing to set the
remuneration for the Reeve, Deputy
Reeve and Councillors and to repeal
By-law Number 3270.
BE IT ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of Picketing
that:
1. The remuneration of t[!e~Reeve shall be $3,500.00 per annum,
plus an allowance of $iQ~00.00 per annma for expenses.
2. The remuneration of the Deputy Reeve and Councillors shall
be $18.00 per day of Comncil or any of its committees.
3. The Deputy Reeve and Councillors shall also receive 10¢
(ten cents) for each mile necessarily travelled in going to
and coming from meetings of Council or its committees, and
the cost of all telephone calls made on Township business.
One-third of all remuneration and expenses paid the Reeve,
Deputy Reeve and Councillors, but not exceeding $2,000.O0
per member, shall be deemed for expenses incidental to the
discharge of their duties as elected officers of the
Corporation of the Township of Picketing.
5. This By-law shall become effective on the 1st day of January,
196~.
6. By-law Number 3270 be and the same is hereby repealed.
