A By-law of the Corporation of the
Township of Picketing to establish
a Community Centre at Atha.
WHEREAS provision is made for the establishment of a
Community Centre and Athletic Field in Ontario under the
Community Centres Act, 1960.
AND WHEREAS it is desired to establish a Community
Centre on Lot 30 in the seventh Concession known as the former
schoolhouse of School Area #l (S.S. 16) in the Township of
Pickering;
THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Township of
Picketing ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That a Community Centre defined as a Community
Centre under the Community Centres Act, 1960, and
the regulations thereunder be established at Lot
30, Concession seven {7) known as the former school-
house of School Area ~l {S.S. 16) and that the said
Community Centre be administered by the following
Board, duly appointed for the ensuing year:
Jos. G. Tran
B. J. Tran (~,~)
Donald Davis
Russel Taylor
J. Wilson
Victor Rudik - Council
Donald Beer - Council
2. That the said Community Centre shall be maintained
as a Community Centre by the said Board in conformity
with the Act and regulations made thereunder.
3. That the said Community Centre shall be known as the
Atha Community Centre.
By-law read a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD time and PASSED in open
