~eing a By-law to amend
3212, designating through hi[lhways
· ~,=l~s clanse 26 of subsection 1 of section 1 of The :iighway
Traffic Act, it.S.C. 1960, Chapter 172 (1) provides
"through hmghway means any highway or part of a highway des-
ignaLed as such by the ~.linister or by By-law of a municipality
approved by the Departmeng, and every such highway shall be
marked by a stop ~"~

with the regulations of the Department.
~O~,. T~FO~E th~ Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Picketing enacts as follows:
t. Section 1 of By-law Number 3212 is amended by adding
the following:

2. The penalties provided in section 85 of The Highway
Traffic Act shall apply to offences against ~Lis By-law.
3. This ~sy-law shall not become effective until approved
by the Department of Transport.
