being a by--law to authorize the
execution of an easement and
deeds affecti~lg part of Lot 27
in Range 3, formerly part of
Old Highway No. 2
Wi~RF~S part o£ 01d Highway 2 in Lot 27, Range 3,
is vested in the Corporation pursuant to an Order in Council
dated Hatch 19th, 1964, and registered in the Registry Office
for the County of Ontario as Highway Plan 745;
AND W~I{EAS the lands so vested are to be conveyed
to the abutting owners subject to an easement in favour of The
Bell Telephone Company of Canada;
NOW Tt'~REFORE BE IT AND TI' IS HEREBY ENACTED BY THE., CORPORATION
OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICK.ERiq~G:
1. That the Reeve and Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute an easement in favour of The Bell Telephone Company of
Canada dated April 5th, 1967, with respect to its telephone
line through part of Lot 27 in Range 3.
2. That the Reeve and Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute deeds in favour of Mary Lucy Pedrick, Edward Crooks
and Lillian Crooks, and Harry Allen Newman for those parts of
Old Highway No. 2 vested by Highway Plan 745 and abutting the
properties owned by them, subject to an easement in favour of
The Bell Telephone Company of Canada as set out in the easement
dated April 5th, 1967.
3. That the Clerk be authorized to release the easement
and deeds on payment of ~i~1.00 plus the cost of any survey or
other expenses incurred by the Township.
