BY-LAW NUMBER 3406
A By-law to amend By-law Number 3315.
WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Township
of Plckerlng on the 8th day of August, 1967 passed By-law
Number 3315 by a vote of three-fourths of all the members of
the Council to authorize the purchase of certain lands for
industrial sites and to provide for the borrowing of $50,000
upon Debentures for the said purpose;
AND WHEREAS no Debentures have been issued under the
authority of said By-law Number 3315;
AND WHEREAS it now appears advisable to borrow money
for the purpose referred to in said By-law Number 3315 by the
issue and sale of Debentures in the principal amount of $40,000
to be authorized by a subsequent By-law or By-laws.
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the
Township of Picketing enacts as follows:
THAT By-law Number 3315 of The Corporation of the
Township of Picketing passed on the 8th day of August, 1967
be and is hereby amended as follows:
(a) By deleting from said By-law Number 3315 the heading
thereto and substituting therefor the following:
"Being a By-law to authorize the purchase of the
lands described in Schedule "A" hereto annexed
for industrial sites".
(b) BY deleting from said By-law Number 3315 the second
and third recitals thereto.
(c) BY deleting from said By-law ~%mber 3315 paragraphs
2 to 9, both inclusive, thereof, and

(d) By deleting from said By-law Number 3315 Schedule
"B" thereto.
READ a first, second and third time and finally passed
by a vote of three-fourths of all the members of Council this
