HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 3363 THE CORPORATION 0.~ THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER ~.~,'~ ~ A By-law of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering to assume a portion of Toy Avenue as a Township Road WHEREAS the Township of Pickering is the owner of certain lands in Lot 18, Concession l; A~D WHEREAS these lands were dedicated as a public road allow- ance by by-law number 3060; AND WHEREAS a portion of these lands commonly known as Toy Avenue have been developed and constructed as a road to the satisfaction of the Road Superintendent; BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of The Town- ship of Pickering that those lands described in Schedule "A" attached hereto and outlined in red on the attached survey show~ as Schedule "B" to this by-law are hereby assumed as a Township Road as of the day of final passing of this by- law. Schedule "A" and "B" attached hereto shall form a part of this by-law. BY-LAW read a first and second time this ~-~ay of ~L~3J~ , 1967. / BY-LAW read a third time and PASSED this ~ ~ay of~, 1967. THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises, situate, lying and being in the Township of Pickering, in the County of Ontario, being composed of part of lot 18, in the first concession of the said township, the said parcel being more particularly described as follows: PREMISING that the southerly limit of the said lot 18 has a bearing of North 72© 59' 30" East, and relating all bearings herein thereto, then COMMENCING at a point in the said southerly limit of lot 18, distant easterly therealong eight hundred and three decimal seven eight feet (803.78') from the south-west angle thereof; THENCE North 17° 00' 30" West, seventeen feet (17.00') to an irmon bar planted in the northerly limit of the Baseline Road as widened, the said iron bar being at the PLACE OF BEGINNING of the herein described parcel of land; THENCE North 72© 59' 30" East, along the said northerly limit of the Baseline Road as widened, sixty-six feet (66.00') to an iron bar planted; THENCE North 17© 00' 30" West, seven hundred feet (700.00') to an iron bar planted; THENCE South 72© 59' 30" West, sixty-six feet (66.00') to an iron bar planted; THENCE South 17© 00' 30" East, seven hundred feet (700.00') more or less to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
