The Counc£1 of the Corporation of th~.Township of Fickerin§,
i~ ~ceor~-nce with the provisions of the Plax{ning Act R. S. O.
1960 as amended, hereby enacts as follows:
t!? 1. The attached text eonstitutingAmendment
No. 5 to the Official Plan of the Township
of Picketing Planning Area, is hereby
adopted.
2. That the Clerk is hereby a~thoriZed and
~ directed to make application to the
~ ~ Mirt~ster of Municipal Affairs fo~ 4pproval
of ~he afore~tioned Amendment ~o. 6
~o ~he Official Pi~ of the T~hip of
Pit,erins Plann~s~ea.
3. Thio By-law shall come into force and

of the Town~hi~ ~£ ~IcKering Planning Area.
(b) STATE~ENT
The following Text constitutes Amendment
No. ~ to the Official Plan of the Township of
.Picketing Planning Area, and is herewith submitted
for the approval of the Minister of Municipal
Affairs.
This proposal results from an amendment
application, approved by Council Resolution Number
203/67 dated June 12th, 1967 on the recommendation
of the Planning Board.
ITEM 1
LOCATION: Part Lot 1, Range III (North side of
Rangeline Road, west of the Whitb¥-
Picketing Townline), as shown on the
attached Schedule IIA and labeled
"Transmitter Site", and numbered
Item 1.
PURPOSE: Tbls Drop~e~ is presently vacant,
and is proposed to be used as a
radio broadcast transmitter site,
only.
The adjacent properties to the south
and east are sparsley developed on a
residential basis, with the properties
to the north and west being vacant
open fields.
TEXT: Part i - Land Use Proposals, Section B
- Land Use and Community Plan, Sub-Section
(k) RURAL.
CHANGE: To add an exemption clause to the end
of Sub-Section (k) RURAL, as follows:
"Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions,
the operation of a radio broad cast trans-.
mitter atation shall'be, permitted on Part. of
Lot l, Range 3, as shown on Schedule IIA
and labelled 'Transmitter Site'.
The ~round coverage of the site by build-
ings and structures will be low in acccm-
dance with the character of the area."
