A By-law of the Corporation of the Township
of Picketing to prohibit the sounding of
railway engine whistles at certain highway
crossings in the Township of Picketing.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED:
1. The sounding of any engine whistle in accordance with the
provisions of Section 311 (1) of The Railway Act R.S.C. 1952,
Ch. 234, is hereby prohibited in respect of the highway
crossings within the limits of the Township of Picketing set
out in Schedule "A" below, and forming part of this By-law.
2. This By-law shall come into force if and when approved by an
Order of the Board of Transport Commissioners for Canada.
