A By-law of the Corporation of
the Township of Pickering to
close a portion of Pleasant
Street in Registered Plan 65
WHEREAS R.S.O. 1960, Chapter 249, Section 459,
subsection 1 provides that a Municipality may close a
road allowance
AND WHEREAS the Director of Titles has placed
a draft plan of Subdivision on lands presently described
by Registered Plan 65 in the Hamlet of Fairport
AND WHEf~EAS the Director of Titles has asked
the Municipality to close a portion of Pleasant Street
between Bay Street and Wharf Street
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation
of the Township of Pickering hereby enacts as follows:
1. The lands described in Schedule "A" hereto attached
are hereby stopped up and closed as a public highway.
2. The said Schedule "A" hereto attached shall form part
of this By-law.
3. For the purpose of illustration only, a plan showing
the lands described in Schedule "A" coloured in red
is attached hereto as Schedule "B" and shall form
part of this by-law.
