Being a By-law to authorize
the Reeve and Clerk to
execute a deed dated April 17,
1967, to Mrs. M.R. Ouellette.
WHEREAS a ten foot widening was deeded to the
Township gratuitously for a road allowance between lots 30
and 31, in Concession 4 of the Township of Picketing;
AND WHEREAS the Council has not obtained widening
from other abutting property owners on this road allowance;
AND WHEREAS on the advise of the Planning and
Engineering Departments, the future widening of this road
is not desirable;
AND WHEREAS Mrs. M. R. Ouellette has requested
that a deed be given by the Township to her to confirm her
title to this portion of said road allowance;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of
the Township of Picketing hereby enacts as follows:
THAT the Reeve and Clerk are authorized to
execute a conveyance dated the seventeenth day of April,
1967, by the Corporation of the Township of Picketing and
Mrs. M. R. Ouellette with respect to the ten foot widening
as per description in Schedule "A" hereto attached.
Read a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD time and passed in open
Council this /? day of ...... ~ 1967.
SCHEDULE "A"
THAT certain parcel or tract of land and premises
situate lying and being in the Township of Picketing, in the
County of Ontario, and being composed of part of the west
quarter of the north half of Lot 30 in the Fourth Concession
of the said Township of Picketing, the said parcel of land being
more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the westerly limit of said
lot, which said point is 542 feet south of the northwest
corner of said lot;
THENCE NORTHERLY along the westerly limit of said
lot, 75 feet to the point of commencement;
THENCE EASTERLY and parallel to the northerly limit
of said lot, lO feet to a point;
THENCE NORTHERLY and parallel to the westerly limit
of said lot, 75 feet to a point;
THENCE WESTERLY and parallel to the northerly limit
of said lot, 10 feet to a point on the westerly limit of said
lot;
THENCE in a southerly direction along the westerly
limit of said lot, 75 feet to the point of commencement.
