Township of Pickering to set the
remuneration for the Reeve, Deputy
Reeve and Councillors and to repeal
By-law Number 3119.
BE IT ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of
Pickering that:
1. ~he remuneration of the Reeve shall be $ 3500.00 per
annum, plus an allowance of $1,200.00 per annum for
expenses.
2. The remuneration of the Deputy Reeve and Councillors shall
be $ ~8.00 per day of Council or any of its committees.
3. The Deputy Reeve and Councillors shall also receive .10¢
Cents for each mile necessarily travelled in going to and
coming from meetings of Council or its committees, and the
cost of all telephone calls made on Township business.
4. One third of all remuneration and expenses paid the Reeve,
Deputy Reeve and Councillors, but not exceeding $2,000
per member, shall be deemed for expenses incidental to the
discharge of their duties as elected officers of the Corporation
of the Township of Pickering.
5. This By-law shall become effective on the ~rday of

6. By-law Number 3119 be and the same is hereby repealed.
