being a By-law to adopt Amendment No. 4
of the 0ffic[al Flan for the To%~nship of
Pt ckering.
WHEREAS an Official Plan for the Township of
Picke-~ing has been prepared by the Planning Board of the
Township of Picke?ing in accordance with Section 10 of
The Planning Act, R.S.0. 1960, Chapter. 296 as amended;
AND WHEREAS the Planning Board of the Township
of Pfckerlng passed a Resolution on the 18th day of February
1967 recommending to Council that the said Official Plan be
amended in accordance with the provisions of the said Planning
Act;
AND WHEREAS Council has examined Amendment No. 4
of the said Official Plan and it is deemed expedient to
adopt same.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED
1, The Official Plan of the Township of Picketing
be amended by adding Clause 8 under Section lll entitled
"Staging Programme" which said Clause 8 shall read as
follows:
"8. Notwithstanding anything herein contained the
defined water area of the Township of Picketing may be
extended from time to time and the necessary water
reservoirs and mains ma~, be constructed in any part of
the Municipality without reference to the Staging Programme."
and that the said amendment be recommended to the Minister
of Municipal Affairs for approval.
READ a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD time and passed
in open Council this /~ day of Februa~,y A.D. 1967.
