Township of Pickering to appoint auditors
for the Township of Pickering
W~EREAS the f~rm of Monteith, Riehl and Waters have audited
the accounts of the Township of Pickering for the past twenty-
eight years
AND W~EREAS as the firm of Monteith, Riehl and Waters has now
been changed to Deloitte, Plender, Haskins & Sells
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE
TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING THAT:
1. The firm of Deloitte, Plender, Haskins & Sells be and they
are hereby appointed auditors of the Township of Pickering
2. The said firm of Deloitte, Plender, Haskins & Sells shall
perform such duties as are prescribed in Chapter 249,
Sections 228 to 235 inclusive R.S.O., 196~ advise~i the
staff of better methods of bookkeeping and make recommend-
ations to Council of such matters as would, in their
opinion improve the audit or management.
