A by-law of The Corporation of The
Township of Picketing to close a
portion of Bayview Road adjacent
to the Canadian National right-of-
way in registered Plan 221.
V~EREAS X.S.O. 1960, Chapter 249, Section 459, Sub-
section l, provides that a municipality may close a road allowance.
wHEXEAS the Canadian National Xailway has requested
that a portion of Bayview Road adjacent to their right-of-way be
closed.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of The
Township of Picketing hereby enacts as follows:
1. The lands described in Schedule "A" hereto attachea
are hereby stopped up and closed as a public highway.
2. The said Schedule "A" hereto attached shall form part
of this by-law.
3. For the purpose of illustration only a plan showing
the lands described in Schedule "A" coloured in red is
attached hereto.

ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises,
situate, lying and being in the Township of Picketing, in the County of
Ontario and Province of Ontario and being parts of Bayview Roa~ according
to a plan registered in the Registry Office for the said County as Number
221 and being parts of those parts of Bayview Road designated Part 21 and
Part 27 on a plan registered in the Registry Office as Number ~1 Miscell-
aneous and which said parcels are described severally as follows:
FIRSTLY: Commencing at a point in the Easterly limit of Bayview Road
distant one hundred and seventy-six and fourteen hundredths feet (176.14')
measure Northerly therealong from its intersection with the Northerly limit
of Lansing Road which said point of commencement is the Southeasterly angle
of the said Part 21;
THENCE North seventeen degrees nine minutes and thirty seconds West
(N. 17°09'30"~V.)along the Easterly limit of Bayview Road ten and ten
hundredths feet {lO.lO')more or less, to its intersection with the
Southerly limit of that part of Bayview Road closed by By-law 2772 of the
[Viunicipal Corporation of the said Township;
THENCE South seventy-two degrees fifty-eight minutes and forty seconds West
(S.72°5~'40"W.) along the Southerly limit aforesaid sixty-six feet (66.O')
more or less, to its intersection with the Westerly limit of Bayview Road.
THENCE South seventeen degrees nine minutes and thirty seconds East
(S.17oo?'30~'E.) along the ~¥esterly limit of Bayview Road aforesaid ten
and nine hundredths feet (lO.09')more or less, to its intersection with the
Southerly limit of the said Part 21 which said point is mistant one hundred
and seventy-six and three hundredths feet (176.03') measured Northerly along
the said Westerly limit of Bayview Road from its intersection with the
Northerly limit of Lansing Road;
THENCE seventy-two degrees fifty-eight minutes and forty seconds East
(N. 72°5~'40"E.) along the Southerly limit of the said Part 21 sixty-six
feet (66.0') more or less, to the said point of commencement;
SECONDLY: Commencing at a point in the Easterly limit of Bayview Road where
the same is intersected by the Northerly limit of that part of the said Road
closed by By-law 2772 aforesaid and which said point of intersection is
distant three hundred and fifty-one and twenty-four hundredths feet (351.2~')

measured Northerly along the said Easterly limit of Bayview Road from its
intersection with the Northerly limit of Lansing Roa~;
THENCE North seventeen degrees nine minutes and thirty seconds ,Jest
(N.17°09'50%~.) along the said Easterly limit of bayview Road four and
ninety hundredths feet (~.?O')more or less, to the Easterly angle of the
said Part 27;
THENCE Northwesterly along a curve to the right of radius seventy-one and
sixty-five hundredths feet (71.65') being along the Northeasterly limit
of the said Part 27 a distance of eighty-four and seventeen hundredths feet
(¥&.t7') more or less, arc measurement to its intersection with the .~esterly
limit of bayview Roa~, the chord of the said arc having a length of
seventy-nine and forty-one hundredths feet (79.41') measured on a course
North seventy-three uegrees twenty-Cwo minutes and five seconds .~est

THENCE South seventeen degrees nine minutes and thirty seconds East
lS.17°O9'30nE.) along the ;~esterly limit of Bayview Road forty-three
and two hundredths feet (4~.02') more or less, to the Northerly limit of
lands described in the said By-law 2772;
THENCE North seventy-seven degrees eighteen minutes and thirty seconds
East (N.77°15'30"E.) along the limit of lands described in By-law 2772
aforesaid sixty-six and twenty hundredths feet (66.20') more or less to
the said point of co~nencement.
