A By&aw to appoint a mew member to
Council for the taft, office expiring
December )lst, 1967, due to the
resignation of an elected member.
~EREAS the Council of The Corporation of The Township
of Picketing is required under Section 150, Subsection 3 of The
Municipal Act to appoint a person to fill the vacancy for the
unexpired term of office of a member whose seat has become vacant.
AND WHEREAS the Councillors are not ~ected by general
vote.
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of The
Township of Picketing hereby enacts as follows:
That .~' ~/ ~ ~ be and hereby appointed to
sit as Councillor of ~ard 4 in the Township of Picketing for the
unexpired term of the member of Council whose seat has become
vacant and would normally have expired as of December 31st, 1~67.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME aND PASSED this 5th day
of October, 1966.
