W~AS it is e~dient that tbs ~nst~ction of
the work herein sh~l be undert~en as a loc~ i~rove~nt
~d notice of the intention of C~n~l to undert~e su~ ~rk
has been publi shed.
NOW T~FO~ T,~ COUNCIL OF T~ CORPORATION OF
T~ TOW~HIP OF PIC~RI~ ENACTS as follows:
1. That a water~n be const~cted on F~ort Road
f~m the 1st C~cession Road to Dunbar Avenue ~d on ~nbar
Avenue from ~irport Road to ~ghway ~er 2 and on Highw~
Nu~er 2 from the ~rth side to the south side and on Highway
Hu~er 2 from Di~e Road to 76~ feet east of Live~ool Road,
at an estimted cost of ~15,000.00 as a loc~ i~rovement
under the provisions of The Loc~ Isrovement Act. The
OEer's share of the cost ~ll be $57,170.00 based on an
estimted cost of $5.76 per foot front~e of the l~ds abutti~
~rectly on the work,~d the reminder of the cost of the
work ~ll be borne by the Co~oration, and ~a~ed ~nst
~l lands in ~ned Water Area No. i as set out in By-law
~er ~90 as amended.
2. That the sum of ~7,830.00 to be borne by the
Co~oration, together ~th the 0~er~s share of $57,170.00,
be paid by the issuance of debentures, bea~ interest at
the rate of ~ % per a~um by ~ a~ inst~ments.
3. That the ~m of $57,830.00 is ~o be a ~a~e ~nst
~l the l~ds in the De~ned Water Area No. i of the To~s~p
of Picke~ as set out in By-law Nu~er ~90 as amended.
4. The Treasurer of the ToEship my, subjec~ to the
approv~ of Coun~l, ~ree ~th any ba~ or person for
te~ora~ advances of ~ney to meet the cost of the ~rk
pen~ the co~letion thereof.

%. The Engineer of the Co~poration is hereby authorized
to make such plans, profiles and specifications and furnish
such information as may be necessary for the making of contracts,
for the doing of the work or for carrying out the same by day
labour and the work shall be carried on and executed under the
superintendence and according to the directions and orders of
the ssid Engineer.
6. Any person ~aose lot is specially assessed may
com~ute by a payment in cash the special rate imposed by paying
the costs of construction assessed upon such lot without the
interest forthwith after the Special Assessment Roll has been
certified by the Clerk but may not com~ute after the Debenture
By-law has been passed.
