HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 3189 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING Being a by-law to authorize the conveyance of parts of Union Street to Liscombe, Booth and Mairs WHEREAS Union Street was closed by By-law 3017 of the Township of Picketing and the assent to the closing by the Lieutenant Governor-in-Council obtained; AND WHEREAS Council has agreed to convey part of the lands forming Union Street to the adjoining owners. NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE ,~-TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Reeve and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute deeds to Charles Lewis Liscombe, Ivan & Jean Booth and D.L. Mairs and Son Limited for the parcels of land formerly part of Union Street and being the parcels of land shown on a survey by J.J. Koning, 0.L.S. dated February 7th, 1966, adjoining the westerly limits of the properties owned by the aforesaid Lis- combe, Booth and Mairs. 2 That the Clerk of The Township be authorized to re- lease the deeds upon payment of the sum of $1.00 plus the costs incurred by the Township in connection with the survey and legal costs.
