BY-LAW NUMBER 3 / i?
Being a by-law to authorize the conveyance
of parts of road allowance between Lots 34
and 35, Broken Front Range 1, to the
Department of Highways of Ontario.
WHEREAS the unopened road allowance between Lots 34 and
35, Broken Front Range 1 is required for the construction of the
Port Union Commuter Station.
AND WHEREAS the Council has agreed to convey this
portion of the lands forming the unopened road allowance to the
Department of Highways of Ontario.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of The
Township of Pickering hereby enacts as follows:
1. That the Reeve and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute
an agreement as to compensation and possession for lands
required by the Minister of Highways under the Commuter
Service Act, 1965, being the parcel of land shown on a
survey Plan P9014-1 as part 4, by Alan L. Vaughan,
Ontario Land Surveyor, dated March 23, 1966.
