BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 3036 as amended.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering deems it desireable to further amend the provisions
of By-law Number 3036, as amended.
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Pickering ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
A - TEXT AMENDMENTS
1. That Section 5.5 be and the same is hereby
deleted in its entirety.
2. That Section 5.17 (b) be and the same is hereby
amended by adding thereto the words:
"in a 'C3' zone and the minimum distance
of any main building or structure from any
street line shall be sixty (60) feet in a
'C2' zone."
so that the section shall now read as follows:
5.17 (b) The minimum distance of any building
or structure from any street line shall
be forty (40) feet in a 'C3' zone and
the minimum distance of any main building
or structure from any street line shall
be sixty (60) feet in a 'C2' zone.
3. That Section 6.6 be and the same is hereby
deleted and the following, inserted tbero-
fore:
6.6 INSTITUTIONAL USES IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS
Nothing contained in this By-law shall
prevent th.= use of any land, building or
structure, in any Residential Zone for a
church.
4. That Section 17.3 be and the same is hereby
amended by deleting therefrom the last sentence
theraof, so that Section 17.3 shall now read
as follows:
17.3 RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL USES
Subject to the requirements of the Metropolitan
Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and
notwithstanding the requirements of Section
17.1. no person shall change the use of any
building, structure or land nor erect and use
any building or structure inua Greenbelt- )
Conservation Zone G for any residential or
commercial purpose.

is hereby amended by altering the '011 dasignatio..

C - ThF:t By-law Number 3036 be and the same is hereb-
repealed and ?.,me.nd.ed only to the extent necessary
to give efface do the provisions of this By-law.
D - No hart of this By-law shall come into force without
th,: aj-proval of the Ontario P":unicipal Board, but
sub,'ect to such ao>>rcval, the By-law shall take effect
