ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY CENTRE AT PART OF LOT 19, CONCESSION 2.
WHEREAS provision is made for the establishment of a Community
Centre and Athletic field in Ontario under the Community
Centres Act, 196~;!
AND WHEREAS it is desired to establish a Community Centre and
Athletic field on part of Lot 19, Concession 2, Township of
Picketing, known as Picketing Township Centennial Park;
THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Township of Pickering
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT a Community Centre defined as a Community Centre
under the Community Centres Act, 1960, and the regulations
thereunder, be established at part of Lot 19, Concession
2, known as Pickering Township Centennial Park, be
administered by the Pickering Township Parks and Recreation
Committee, namely:
Donald Hopkins
Donald Boake
John Gomes
Jack Dobbin
Leslie Wilson
Councillor Donald Beer
J Councillor Ronald Chatten
2. THAT said Community Centre shall be maintained as a
Community Centre by the said Board in conformity with
the Act and regulations made thereunder.
3. THAT the said Community Centre shall be known as
.Picketing Township Centennial Park"
