Being a By-law to authorize the purchase
of 20 acres of land, being composed of part
of Lot 19, Range 3, f~r the purpose of
establishing sites for the carrying on of

WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to purchase the lands
described in Schedule A annexed hereto from Viking Develop-
ments Limited, for the price of $60,000.00, for the purpose
of establishing sites for the carrying on of industries and
industrial
operations;
AND WHEREAS t~he ~wt of the said purchase, $6~,
will be levied by an annual rate against all the rateable
property in the Township of Picketing over a period of
5 years;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWNSHIP OF PICEERING ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That there shall be purchased from Viking Develop--
ments Limited, for the purpose of establishing sites for
the carrying on of industries ant industria~o~ations the
lands doscri~be~ i chedule I annexed hereto, f~m
2. That there shall be borrowed the sum of ~0
for the purpose set out in Clause l, which sum shall be a
charge ~ainst all the rateable property in the Township of
Pi ckeri ng.
3. That the special rate to pay for the said purchase
shall be paid in 5 annual instalments°

of the TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING
Part of Lot 19, Broken Front Concession, Range 3 in the
Township of Picketing in the County of Ontario, comprising
an area of 20 acres, having a frontage of 730 feet more or
less on the West limit of the Road Allowance between Lots
18 amd 19, commencing 960 feet south of the North limit of
the said Lot 19 and running thence South, by a depth of
1190.99 feet to the East limit of the lands of the Hydro
Electric Power Com~sslon of Ontario.
