BY-LAW NU~ER 3143
being a by-la~ to authorize the purchase of a
parcel of lane containing 5 acres more ¢.r less on
the east side of the Road Allowance between Lots
24 and 25 in Concession I from the Kiwanis Club
of Dunbarton Picketing Township.
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to purchase the lands
of the Kiwanis Cl~ of Dunbarton Picketing Township in Lot 24
in Concession of the Township of Picketing for an industrial
site and the Kiwanis Club of Dunbarton Pickering Township has
agreed to sell its lands to the Corporation of the Township
of Pickering for that purpose;
AND WHEREAS Council by resolutions dated March 28th,
1966, and April 4th, 1966, authorized the said purchase;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to confirm the
action of Council by by-law.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED:
1. That a parcel of land on the east side of the Road
Allowance between Lots 24 and 25 in Concession i of the Town-
ship of Pickering having a frontage of 467 feet, a depth of
$67 feet and an area of 5 acres mere or less, be purchased from
the Kiwanis Club of Dunbarton Pickering Township for the sun] of
$20,000.00 for an industrial site.
2. That the Reeve and Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute all documents necessary to complete the said purchase.
