A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO
AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 2397, TO REGULATE THE SETTING OUT OF FIRES
IN THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING.
WHEREAS at a meeting of the Fire Committee on October 7, 1965,
it was deemed desirable to add a clause, Number ~(a) ~ By-Law
Number 2397~
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the
~ownship of Picketing that By-Law Number 2397 be amended by
adding the following clause, Number ~(a), which reads:
ANY PERSON or persons who set a fire in the open
air, that requires the attendance of the Fire
Department equipment or personnel, shall be
responsible fo~ the cost of such services.
