A CLERK FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING.
WHEREAS Mr. Lloyd T. Johnston has tendered his resignation as Clerk of
~ e-~ e--~niclpality of the Township of Pickerlng;
AND WHEREAS it is expedient that a Clerk be appointed for the said
Munl c~pallty,
The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Township of Pickerlng
THEREFORE ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Douglas J. Plitz be and is hereby appointed Clerk of the
Municipality of the Township of Picketing,
2. That the duties of the said Clerk shall be as follows:
(a) to truly record in a book, without note or comment, all
resolutions, decisions and other proceedings of the Council;
(b) if ~equi~ed by any member p~esent, to record the name and
vote of every membem voting on any mattem or question;
(c) to keep the books, ~ecords and accounts of the Council~
(d) to pmesemve and file all accounts acted upon by the Council;
(e) to keep in his office om in the place appointed fop that
purpose, the originals of all by-laws, and of all minutes
of the proceedings of the Council;
(f) to perform such othe~ duties as may be assigned to him by
the Council.

That fora his said services the Clerk shall be paid a salary of

. That By-Law Numbe~ 1627 be and the same is hereby repealed.
