A BY-LAW RELATING TO THE VALIDITY OF LICENSES TO HUNT PHEASANTS,
RABBITS AND FOXES.
WHEREAS the municipality of the Township of Picketing
has, with the written authority of the Minister of
Lands and Forests passed By-Law No. 2669 of the said
township providing for issuing and fixing the maximum
number of licenses to hunt during the open season
pheasants, rabbits and foxes pursuant to provisions
of The Game and Fish Act, SO 1961-62, Chap.
Sec. 37(1)~
AND WHEREAS the Ministe~ of Lands and Forests has in
writing authorized the municipality to pass a further
by-law as authorized by The Game and Fish Act S0 1961-62,
Chap. gS, Sec.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Corporation
~f the Townshzp of Picketing that,
1. A license to hunt animals and birds not protected
by the Game and Fish Act SO 1961-62, Chap. ~8~
the ~egulations or the Migratory Birds Convention Act
(Canada) or the TeEulations made unde~ that Act,
during the period between the 1st day of March and
the 31st day of August is not valid in the Township
of Pickerin~ unless it is si~ned by the Clerk of the
Township of Pickerlng or by a person authorized by
him.
