A By-law to authorize the enlargement of
Defined Water Area N~ber 1.
WHEREAS by By-law Number 27+90 of The Corporation of
the Township of Picketing, Defined Water Area NL~mber 1 was
established as including all lands in the Township of Picker-
lng lying west of the }[ouge River and all those lands in
the Township of Picketing lying between Provincial Highway
No. ~01 and Lake Ontario and between the Town of Aj~ and
the Ro~e River;
AND ~[EREAS it is deemed necessary to enlarge the
said Defined Water Area No. 1;
NOW THEREFOI[E The Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Pickering enacts as follows:
1. Water Area N~ber 1 of the Township of Picketing
is thereto those lands in the
hereby
enlarged
by
adding
said
Township described as follows:
CO~NCING a~ the north limit of said Provincial 1]ighway No.
401 where it is intersecbed by a linc distant 200 feet east
of the east limit of the Road Allowa~ce between Lots 26 and
27 in Range 111;
THENCE norCherly along the said line 200 feet east of the said
koad Allowance to ~he south boundary of the Canadian ~qational
Railway Right-of-Way in Concession 1;
THENCE westerly a].o~g Lhe said boundary of the Canadian National
Railway Right-of-Way to a point ~,~'. :._~'-~ ~ limit
TIIENCE southerly and parallel to the said Road Allowance betweea
Lots 30 and 31 to the norLherly limit of Highway 401;
TI~ENCE easterly along the northerly limit of l{ighway 401 to
the PO~qT OF
