AND WHEREAS the Council has caused to be made reports, estimates
and statements required in connection therewith~
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF
PICKERING ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the construction of a water-main and sanitary sewer with
four connections over, along, through and under those lands on
said Plan WR-82 designated thereon as Part 6 zn accordance w~th
the report of the engineer of the Corporation of the Township
of Picketing dated the 5th day of June, 196~, be undertaken as
a local improvement under the provisions of the Local Improvement
Act°
2. That all and singular those certain parcels or tracts of land
situate lying and being in the Township of Picketing and County
of Ontario and being part of Lot 20, Range 8, Broken Front
Concession and more particularly described as Parts 3, ~, 5, 7
and 8 as shown on a plan filed with the Master of Titles for
the County of Ontario and designated as No. WR-82 be and the same
are hereby defined as an area to be known as Picketing Industrial
Area No. 1 under the provisions of Section 67 of The Local
Improvement Act as amended by Statutes of Ontario, 1960-61,
Chapter ~9, Section ~.
3. That the entire cost of the work estimated at $9,0~3.00 be
assessed and levied on the rateable property in Picketing Industrial
Area No0 1.
The engineer of the Corporation do forthwith make or cause to be
made such plans, profiles and specifications as may be necessary in
order to carry out the construction of the said work.
5. That the said womk be constructed under the supervision and
direction of the engineer of the said Corporation.
6. That the Reeve and Clerk be and the same are hereby authorized
to enter into one or more contracts for the construction of the
said work subject to the approval of this Council to be declared
by resolution.

7. That the Treasurer of the said Corporation may agree
with any bank or person for temporary advances of money
to meet the cost of the said work pending the completion
thereof, subject to the approval of this Council to be
declared by resolution.
8. That the cost of the said work be paid as provided for
in Schedule "A" to this by-law, which is hereby incorporated
as part thereof.
9. That the said Corporation may issue one or more debentures
to pay for the cost of the work when completed to bear
interest at such rate and to be on such terms and conditions
as Council may declare by resolution.
By-Law Number 2895 be and the same is hereby repealed.
