CREATE THE "CLAREMONT COMMUNITY CENTRE ATHLETIC FIELD".
WHEREAS By-Law 1298 created the "Claremont Community Memorial
Ath~c Field and Park and the Claremont Community Hall"
containing four acres in Lot 18, Concession S;
AND WHEREAS Council considers it desirable to create two
Boar~ - one for the Athletic Field and one for the Hall,
as they are not on the same parcel of land;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township
of Picketing that
1. The park described in By-Law No. 1998 be separated from
the Hall and that the "Claremont Community Centre
Athletic Field" be formed.
The Hall described in By-Law No. 1298 be created into
the "Claremont Community Centre".
The members for the year 1954 a~d until replaced for
the C~aremont Community Centre Athletic Field shall be:
Robert Madill
Mrs. Irene Rennie
George Pearsall
Robert Hockley
Mrs. Thelma Hockley
Harvey Spang - Council
William G. Newman - Council
~. The said Community Centre shall be maintained as a
Community Centre by the said Board in conformity with
the Act and regulations made hereunder.
5. By-Law No. 2710 be and the same is hereby repealed.
BY-LAW read a First, second and third time and finally
