HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 2881A BY-LAW OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING TO TAKE OVER AND ASSUME AS A TOWNSHIP ROAD A CERTAIN STREET IN THE POLICE VILLAGE OF CLAREMONT. WHEREAS on May 15, 1961 the Township of Picketing registered a deed from Frank S. Barclay and Rowena K. Barclay for a road allowance to serve parts of Lots 28 and 29 in Plan 12, which have been re-divided. AND WHEREAS the said road allowance known as Barclay Crescent has been built to Township standard by Mr. Barclay; BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Town- ship of Pic'k'ering tha~" the following described lands known as Barclay Crescent be and the same are hereby assumed as a Township road: ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, lying and being in the Township of Pickeing and County of Ontario and being composed of part of Lots 28 and 29 as shown on Registered Plan 12 for the said County~ which said parcel is more particularly described as follows: PREMISING that the bearing of the north limit of Central Street as shown on said Plan is N 71° 24' E and relating all bearings used herein thereto; COMMENCING at the south-east angle of Lot 26 as shown on said Plan; THENCE on a circular curve to the left having a radius of 50.0 feet, a chord distance of 50.86 feet messured on a chord bearing of S 20° 58' 30" W; THENCE continuing along said circular curve to the left to a point of intersection with a llne drawn parallel to the west limit of the said Lot 28 through a point in the south limit of the said Lot 28 distant easterly in said south limit 244.08 feet from the south-west angle of the said Lot 28~ s chord distance of 63.77 feet measured on a chord bearing of S 49° 12~ 30" E; THENCE S 17° 30' E along said parallel line to a point in the south limit of the said Lot 28~ a distance of 235.71 feet more or less; THENCE N 71° 24' E along the south limit of the said Lots 28 and 29, a distance of 66.01 feet to a point in line with a fence running northerly; THENCE n 17° 30' W along said fence and northerly production thereof~ a distance of 281.80 feet; THENCE on a circular curve to the left having a radius of 50.0 feet, a chord distance of 58.23 feet measured on a chord bearing of N 53° 05' W to a point in the north limit of the said Lot 29; - 2 - THENCE S 71° 24' W along the fence marking the existing nort'h limit of Lots 28 and 29~ a distance of 34.04 feet more or less to the Point of Commencement.
