A COMMUNITY PARKS BOARD IN WEST ROUGE AND TO REPEAL BY-LAW NO. 2625
WHICH CREATED THIS PARK INTO A COMMUNITY CENTRE.
WHEREAS the Parks and Recreation Committee has, by resolution,
requ~s%ed Council to change the West Rouge Parkette Board from
"The West Rouge Community Centre Board" to "The West Rouge
Community Parks Board";
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Township of
Picketing that:
~.~ 1. As of this date, Lots 14, 15, 16, 20, 29, in Plan 678, known as
The West Rouge Parkette, shall be under the control of the
"West Rouge Community Parks Board".
2. The following named persons shall constitute the Board of the
West Rouge Community Parks Board for the year 1964 and until
they are replaced:
Robert Cook
Stanley Frost
Russell Ferguson
Mrs. Dorothy Wiggins
Mrs. June Chesher
Hubert Wank Council
Mrs. Jean McPherson Council
3. By-Law No. 2825 which created the Community Centre be and the
same is hereby repealed.
By-Law No. 2851, which appointed representatives to above
Board be and the same is hereby repealed.
